Ci vorrà come un minimo un anno o un anno e mezzo per ottenere l'approvazione dall'agenzia europea, ma il vaccino per la meningite è in viaggio.
A elaborarlo è stata la Novartis di Siena. Il vaccino coprirebbe un particolare ceppo di meningite, come ha ricordato Rino Rappuoli, capo divisione vaccini della nota azienda, a margine della terza giornata del V Forum Risk Management in corso ad Arezzo.
