Lo rivela il rapporto mondiale sui trapianti curato dalla ONT

La Toscana è la regione dove il rapporto tra donatori d'organi e abitanti risulta essere il più elevato rispetto ai singoli Paesi. E' l'indicazione che emerge dall'ultimo rapporto mondiale sui trapianti curato da Rafael Matesanz, direttore dell'Organizzazione spagnola per il trapianti (Ont) per conto del Consiglio d'Europa. Il documento conferma la Spagna nella posizione (che occupa dal 1992) di Paese leader a livello mondiale con un numero di donatori deceduti per ogni milione di abitanti pari a 32. L'Italia, nel suo insieme, raggiunge quota 21,6, mentre la Toscana arriva a 40.
